Addicted to Pretty

I have been asked to design a logo for a new and up coming make up studio called Addicted to Pretty. I met up with one of the business partners to discuss what sort of logo they wanted and have a feel of what kind of people they are. Ended up looking at Japaneses style art and a very grungy look. So this is what I have come up with, i hope you like.

Exhibition Prep (University OF Cumbria)

So its nearly the end of my university life, i have handed in all my work and now getting ready for the big wide world. For our theme of the University Exhibition one of our tutors thought of was boxes for example moving away.. So we ordered alot of cardboard boxes to design... so we had to design these boxes in our own style but with the style of the box still there ( not much we could do really) so here was my first initial idea for the 4 sided box.

Art Direction: D.I.Y. bridal Dress: Photo shoot

For one of my projects i have decided to do a Supplement for a magazine/Newspaper, My supplement is about D.I.Y bridal dresses, you can still look glamorous in something you made in a couple of minutes. I brought myself a cheap white/ivory dress and accessorized it with fabric and jewellery. A simple look for a simply glamorous bride.

Making the dress, i brought 2 base layers, which was white sheet of fabric and netting long enough to the floor, i sewed by hand some ribbon onto the netting so i could tie it to the back of my model.
To hide the stitching i used another large ribbon and bow tied it at the back giving some detail.

I just want to give a big thank you to the model Helen, for being wonderful and doing this for me, Jenny for using and taking photographs on her camera and also Fran n Kelcey for being there :)
