I think i have an obsession with FOOD

I think i have an obsession with FOOD.. i can't stop thinking about it.. if someone says burger... i think hmmm burger ( dam i want a burger )..  

so as i look through pictures of great looking food.. and we found these whoopies.. hmm there like cake sandwiches full fat but delicious home made ...  there meant to be way smaller but we keep making massive ones.. and the recipe said make 8 but we made 15.. 






Also as Jenny and i got bored in class we were searching food on tumblr and a picture of some sort of dutch egg and bread, breakfast thing.. and it looked soo amazing to make.. so that was our mission that day.. in the recipe it was bread, cheese, bacon and a egg. it was such a treat to make and eat.. hmm yum.. 

Recent Books Read... Such a sucker for Romance..

 Okay, i am such a sucker for romantic books and love seeing how the endings finish, will she wont she get the perfect guy she wants..  sometimes i get so excited that i have to tell people what is happening in the books that i have read...  here are the recent books that i have been reading...

The first book i read was so moving it made me cry a little at the end, just wasn't expecting it to end the way it did.. Nicholas sparks wrote it so well.. 

The second was by Katie Fforde, i have read a few of her books and have liked all so far, she is a great read on holiday or on a sunny day when you feel like dipping into a bit of romance. Love Letters was such a will she, wont she book. 

The third book 'Take a chance on me' was great company on my long train journeys, this book made you want to force the main character Cleo to get more confidence and do something about her problems and what makes this book different is.. its not just about her but also her family life to.. just drama everywhere but great.

the fifth book can you keep me a secret was a great read i kept wanting to read it.. i know now not to spoke loads on a plane by yourself to a stranger.. i got told about this book by a friend and my house mate was also reading it at the same time..definitely a must have read.

Directional signage system for a uni project

I have to design the interior of a building based on my logo design i made, i chose Uk recycle as it was the strongest logo of the ones i made. i decided on a few ideas of what i wanted to make but as i went along it changed, here you can see i made a new colour coded version of the cycle colours. made it more soft and pastel like. also the building i chose was for everyone, so each level has its own aim. so the audience of the building is wide ranged and be visited by everyone. Here are the designs i made for the building.

Finals for the Photography 2nd year exhibition

 The posters are now up and on the uni walls.. don't forget guys the 2nd year exhibition starts 9th of April to the 16th.. Go and look at the amazing photography from the University of Cumbria photography students..

Here are the final designs that they voted suitable for there exhibition, they gave us a very abstract topic and we went with simple and a lot of composition for the design to work and bold colours.

Poster design for photography exhibition,collaboration with jenny Cargill

Me and my friend (Jenny Cargill) were approached and ask to help design a poster for a Photography exhibition at the university of Cumbria, We had a mini competition with our friend James Howie on the design of his work (his work poster was amazing as ours). So me and Jen put our heads together and thought of ideas and what could we do, at this time we were in class messing around with the graphic tablets so Jen traced a few cameras and we had a concept of different cameras on a very simple way. Then we both had the chance to put the images and type together and here is what we both came up with...
